- We are happy you are registering your student(s) for the 2024/2025 EDGE school year. Its shaping up to be a great season.
  
  Step One
  Complete the full Online Registration Form (below). It includes the ability to register up to 3 students from one household. You can pay online by using a checking account or debit/credit card. (Note: the ability to pay will never be a factor in whether a teen can attend. Please contact Mrs. Buron if financial payments would be helpful.)

  Review the attached 'Release/Consent' Form. By checking the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the Registration Form you accept these terms. If you don't choose the "I Agree" button you are asked to print the form, complete, sign and return it to Mrs. Buron at the mandatory parent meeting on October 3rd.

Help Needed- Small Group Leaders

Due to a variety of circumstances, we are finding ourselves in need of at least 2 additional volunteers to be small group leaders.
A small group leader would need to be able to:
1. Help out every Tuesday between 6-8pm,
2. Come for an initial training session,
3. Complete a CORI,
4. Complete an online safe environment training session, and
5. Be open to some fun learning experiences with our middle school youth.

EDGE is in need of 2 Small Group Leaders. Any adult or student who has been confirmed and is available on Tuesday evenings is welcome to join our EDGE ministry. As a small group leader, a person’s responsibilities include: being prepared to lead discussions or activities within a small group of students which reinforces the weekly lesson taught, taking attendance, keeping in touch with a small group of students via emails and arriving 15-30 minutes prior to class each week and staying approximately 15 minutes after class.

What is EDGE?

EDGE is a Catholic youth ministry/religious education program aimed at young middle school adolescents. It is designed to meet their educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs. EDGE creates an environment where the youth are part of a community rather than an isolated classroom. St. Joseph Church recognizes the importance of the inclusion of our youth in the church and its activities. Edge fosters their role in the community through a variety of service projects throughout the year. This time in their lives is critical because youngsters in middle school are making decisions that will spiritually impact them for a lifetime and it is our role to help them to foster a relationship with Jesus so He can to be a guiding light in their lives. A solid middle school youth ministry is a gateway for growth and development of our youth and their relationship with our Lord.
