"Sing praise to the Glory of His Name." Psalm 66:2 |
Mission: The St. Joseph's Choir brings beauty of song to the liturgy and enhances our worship at Mass each Saturday and Sunday. Unlike many other Parishes, we are blessed with group singing at all or our liturgies. Saturday at 4:30pm, Sunday at 8:00am, 10:00am, & 5:00pm. Role: St Joseph's different Choirs' are comprised of men and women of the Parish who come from all walks of life. Each Choir practices once a week and sings at our Masses on the weekend. In addition, the Choir sings at special celebrations and events throughout the year. |
10:00 am Choir - WHO ARE WE: We consist of 20 dedicated individuals with diverse and varying musical skills who gather every week to make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Our primary ministry is to lead and support the congregation in worshipping God in song during Mass. We also present 4-part choral pieces and meditative music to enhance the Liturgy and Word of God. New members are always welcome (we are adding a set of risers in anticipation of this). We rehearse one evening per week from 7-9pm September through May. |
"Plan now to join in Praising the Lord with your voice and think about joining one of our choirs”!
There are several to choose from and if you belong to one, you may also sing with any other. We sing at the Saturday 4:30pm and Sunday 8:00am, 10:00am & 5:00pm Masses.
