ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT… is a wonderful aspect of our Eucharistic life. We believe, and have from Gospel days, that according to His word in the Gospel (read John chapter 6), Jesus is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the sacred Host. Our reception of Holy Communion at Mass is an important aspect of our response to His love. But also, adoring Him present in the MONSTRANCE on the altar is also a way of revering Him. Jesus is present to us in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar and when the Eucharist is exposed for veneration there should be at least one person present throughout the entire time. However, as long as at least one person is committed to being present, any one may come at any time and remain for as long as they desire.

Your Role: Parishioner volunteers are requested to be present before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour either Monday, Wednesday or Friday according the your schedule. Each person chooses his own way of prayer. A prayer book may be used, the Rosary may be prayed or reading scripture from the Holy Bible is encouraged. It is entirely up to each individual. It is one hour that we giveback to God in thanksgiving for all that he has done for us.
