Pope John Paul II said…Adults are called to a full and personal living out of the liturgy in the secular world. We cannot give to the world what we do not have in our hearts; we cannot bear witness to what we do not understand, or even know. We cannot raise our children in a faith we do not understand and love. We need to know the faith, growing in that wisdom for the rest of our lives.
Here at St. Joseph Church, our Adult Faith Formation Ministry is concerned with the ongoing learning of our adult faith community. We offer schedule friendly and enlightening programs to those who seek to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith.
We currently offer the following ways in which to learn about our faith:
+ Women’s Bible study Mondays at 6:45pm - 7:45pm in the second floor conference room.
+ Men’s Bible study Wednesdays at 7pm - 8:00pm in the second floor conference room.
+ Thursday Mass at 6:30 p.m., followed with a teaching session for an hour.
+ Book Club - we are reading "Between Heaven & Mirth" why Joy, Humor and laughter are at the heart of the spiritual life. by James Martin. Date of discussion April 11th, 2013 7:00pm - 8:15pm. All are welcome!
+ Pilgrimages
